Sometimes it can feel really difficult to show up in the world and your day to day life.

Maybe you feel worried or insecure, overwhelmed or numb. Maybe you feel scared or anxious about social justice or climate issues that impact you or others. Maybe you are facing transitions or losses in life that are reshaping the way you understand the world and who you are. Maybe you have felt out of touch with yourself or the people in your life and are looking for a way to feel alive, well, or connected again.

I want you to know that you are not alone in how you are feeling and that I genuinely believe you can find healing, connection, and confidence in daily life through engaging in therapy. I also want you to know that I have faced similar challenges to the ones above and have found great healing through nature-based work and interventions that I offer.

I recognize that this work can be difficult, takes time, and does not have a clear map and I believe in walking through the journey together, wherever it may lead, with curiosity and empathy along the way.

Hi!

I am Amber (she/her) and I am excited about the potential of working with you!

Therapist, Amber Baack, smiling and leaning against a tree with a brown, orange, and red sweater on

I am a nature-based, somatic, experiential therapist and I specialize in self-esteem, transitions in life and relationships, anxiety, and depression.

Many clients I have worked with navigate daily life with negative self-talk, low motivation, and racing thoughts. They commonly describe confusion and disillusionment brought on by changes in the world around them, impacting their relationships and how they view themselves.

In the Alpenglow offers an in-person, embodied space for healing. I believe deeply in supporting people in reconnecting to their authentic selves and a sense of purpose.

In our time together, we will process experiences and behaviors that could be causing difficulty in your life. We will also practice skills that can be supportive for re- connecting to your body and navigating emotions. Ultimately, we will create space for exploring whatever may arise during our work together.

My practice is welcoming to people of all backgrounds and identities and my goal is to co-create a space together where you feel safe and honored as you are.

Let’s Get Started!

It could be a great fit to work together if:

- You feel connected to the natural world and/or enjoy being outdoors

You are navigating/have navigated:

- Transitions and/or loss in life (people, relationships, beliefs, identities, careers, roles in life)

- Self-esteem & self-worth

- Anxiety

- Depression
